CoD2 Radiant - Custom ini file doesn't work

CoD2 Radiant - Custom ini file doesn't work

I've been trying to use an custom ini file for the editor and I can't get to work.    I'll open the Preferences under the Top Menu/Edit section.  I'll hit the browse button on the bottom right corner and select my ini file in the bin folder.  However, nothing happens afterwards.  I know it works in CodWaW's editor.  I'm wondering if anyone here has been successful.  Thanks.

I've had this problem in cod4 radiant. If you don't install it properly (i.e. you previously installed it then reinstalled windows) then im assuming its missing some registry entries, because no matter where you point it, it doesnt work. Also make sure the file isnt set as "read only"
